Studio sound
studio recording is better for recording than other rooms or places because they are specially designed to be dead/dry and sound proofed, for the best possible audio recordings.
Acoustic treatment: Is the process of making a room sound better for recording or mixing by absorbing unwanted ambience and frequencies within the room. this is done to make a room more dry/dead.
Soundproofing: Soundproofing is done to either block noise from entering a room or to block noise from leaving a room. Soundproofing works by using materials that either reduce or absorb sound. Recording studios use soundproofing not to keep sound in, but to keep unwanted sound out.
College equipment:
At the college we have the room sound proofed and sound absorbent. we have all of the equipment that you need to do studio recording. we have all soundcards for plugging in the microphones, we also have a microphone stand with a sound guard to absorb more of the sound. at college we also have two pop filters. the use of a pop filter is to eliminate the sounds of fast moving air when pronouncing p`s and S`s when singing and talking into a microphone.
